Moni Akinsanya

Challenging Racism Campaign Project Lead

Moni provides expertise on all equality, diversity and inclusivity (EDI) matters across LJMU and to other outside Organisations. Using her skills and knowledge, Moni develops diversity strategies, policies and guidance and work with managers,

students and staff to resolve EDI issues, originate action plans and take responsibility for the EDI advice and decisions made. Moni has served as trustees of various boards in the community, contributing immensely and working in partnership with key community representatives. Moni has developed many project initiatives with community groups to address the issue of under-representation of these groups within public sector Organisations. She advises on equality and diversity matters and assist with developing policies in these regards. Moni is involved in various local and national networks such as the Higher Education Race Action Group, the Higher Education Equal Opportunities Network, and serve as a judge on the Athena Swan panel. Presently, Moni is a treasurer of an organisation called Deeper Life Ministries in the UK with an annual turnover of over 2million pounds.

Clemence is an experienced HR/OD practitioner with a passion for engagement and talent management. She has worked across varied sectors of activity and supported a wide

range of organisations in leading and embedding change. In her current role at the University of Kent, she has strategic responsibility for Learning, Organisational Development and EDI. This includes ensuring effective strategies for leadership, management and talent development, supporting and enabling cultural change, assisting team effectiveness and dynamics by creating bespoke interventions and supporting schools and departments to align staff effort to the achievement of institutional and departmental plans.

Sabah Holmes is a seasoned HR and Inclusion strategist, mentor and consultant, with almost two decades of professional and lived experience gained in the UK, UAE, US and India. Sabah has strategic advisory, coaching,

and mentoring expertise and certifications across HR, race equity and inclusion in a variety of sectors and industries, public and private: aviation, telecommunications, advertising, media, engineering, and higher education. She is currently supporting City, University of London with their race equity commitments as their Race Equality Manager on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover contract.
